SERVE

serve
At its root service is meeting the needs of people. Bethesda is always looking for volunteers because people always have needs. And meeting another's needs wonderfully reflects the service of Jesus Christ for his church. Ever thought about how you'd like to serve? We'd love to help you think through the ways. To volunteer contact the church office office@bethesdabaptist.us

NURSERIES

Our nurseries minister to families by providing a loving and safe environment where babies and toddlers are cared for so that parents can focus on the Word of God and fellowship. This ministry is for infants through 2 years. In the nurseries babies and toddlers are held, diapered, played with and loved. If you desire to serve in this ministry contact the church office.

HELPERS

In many ways a children’s helper can “save the day” by lending another pair of loving and caring hands to a classroom full of energetic children. Our teachers love teaming up with others who wish to share the joy of helping our children learn about God. What do helpers do? Helpers can expect to guide busy hands and encourage little ears to listen. Long-term and short-term positions are available.

PREPARATION

The one week of Vacation Bible School each summer doesn’t start there. Preparation actually begins months ahead and you can help. Donating just a couple hours of your time can help us get ready for another program that serves both our church and neighborhood with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

welcome

CENTER

Bethesda desires to greet each and every person who comes to join us for worship. And often visitors to Bethesda have questions. The Welcome Center provides a comfortable place to ask and a friendly person to answer. We’re looking for people who are willing to spend a few minutes after morning worship hosting our guests, providing general information about our church and simply helping new comers feel welcome.

HELP

During certain seasons of life we have more time than usual. Retirees, empty-nesters, students on summer vacation – all may find that fewer obligations free them to volunteer more time to help meet church needs. Bethesda is happy to coordinate workers doing short-term projects whether they are an hour long or a week. There’s always something to help with. Have some free time?
