“that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared . . .” ESV
That’s how the Apostle Paul summarized it in 1 Corinthians 15. Others will point to John 3:16 or some other favorite passage that compresses God’s story into a few phrases or sentences. In any case, the Gospel is not a story that is told to entertain us. It is a life changing truth that demands a response. Either we believe it and run to it for rescue or we deny it and turn our backs.
